I'm Anna Vallgårda. I have a PhD in interaction design and am currently employed in a post doc at the IT UNIVERSITY in Copenhagen.

I study the computer as a material for design. Computers, however, have no expression in and by themselves so in order to study and work with them I develop various "computational composites." The vision is that we through understanding the materiality of computers at some point will be able to work with computers in the same way we work with other more traditional materials like glass or wood.
